What You Need to Know

Annual Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to enroll in or update your health and insurance coverage through the Company. The elections you make from October 7 through October 21, 2026, take effect January 1, 2027.

If you don’t enroll, you may miss the opportunity customize your coverage based on your 2027 needs and budget. However, most of your current coverage will carry over to 2027, except participation in a Flexible Spending Account. You must take action to save tax-free money in an FSA in 2027, even if you were enrolled in 2026.

For 2027, we’re continuing to focus on value, choice, and meaningful support for you and your loved ones. Each year, we review what we offer to ensure our benefits are competitive, meet changing regulations, and support your total well-being. For 2027, we’re making a focused set of changes:

  • Medical plan rates will be updated. The increase is lower than the national average for our industry, and even with this increase, the Company continues to pay the majority of the cost of your coverage. Visit Medical & Prescription Drug Coverage > Paying for Coverage to see the rates.
  • The annual deductibles for the Consumer Choice Plan are increasing to align with IRS requirements for high-deductible plans.

Coverage Level

2027 Individual Deductibles

2027 Family Deductibles

In-Network Care

$1,750 (currently $1,700)

$3,500 (currently $3,400)

Out-of-Network Care

$3,500 (currently $3,400)

$7,000 (currently $6,000)

  • To help offset this change, the Company is also increasing its contribution to each Health Savings Account:
    • $600 for Employee Only coverage
    • $1,200 for all other coverage levels
  • You can purchase additional Child Life Insurance coverage. The $5,000 coverage level will no longer be offered. Instead, you’ll be able to choose between $10,000 and $15,000 in coverage, giving you access to higher levels of financial protection.
  • If you’re currently enrolled in the $5,000 coverage option and don’t make a new election during Annual Enrollment, your coverage will automatically move to the $10,000 option, and your paycheck deduction will be adjusted beginning January 1, 2027.
  • The IRS has increased the limits for how much you can save on a tax-free basis in 2027 to pay for healthcare expenses:
    • The Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Limited Purpose Health Care FSA limit will increase to $3,500
    • The limit for the Dependent Care FSA will stay the same: $7,500
    • The limit for how much can be deposited into a Health Savings Account (HSA), including the Company contribution and your contribution will increase to:
    • $4,500 for Employee Only coverage—with a Company contribution of $600, you can contribute up to $3,900
    • $9,000 for all other coverage levels—with a Company contribution of $1,200, you can contribute up to $7,800
  • We’re introducing two new programs that offer support that we don’t offer today. In 2027, you will have access to:
    • Discounted custom insoles through Hike Medical, to help with foot, ankle, knee, and back pain
    • Personalized financial counseling and resources through OneEleven to help you meet your financial goals
